'MLM' racketeers always pretend never to have made empty promises

Shyam

For more than 50 years, various gangs of blame-the-victim 'MLM business opportunity' racketeers have been ensnaring ill-informed and vulnerable individuals with the empty promise of 'total financial freedom.' However, when challenged, these sanctimonious charlatans (and their apologists) absolutely deny that they have made any promises of fabulous future rewards; allowing them steadfastly to pretend that they are not criminals, because their companies merely offer a 'lawful opportunity' for ordinary people to become 'independent business owners' who can regularly retail products, and/or services, to the public for a profit.
In reality, no so-called 'MLM business opportunity' has ever been operated lawfully. The wider quantifiable evidence (which, to date, has been generally ignored by law enforcement agents, legislators, academics and mainstream journalists) proves beyond all reasonable doubt that tens of millions of ill-informed and vulnerable individuals around the world have been, and continue to be, churned through countless, essentially-identical, closed-market swindles and related advance fee frauds presented externally as 'lawful MLM business opportunities,'  but which have all been hiding effectively-100% overall, failure/ drop-out rates, due to the fact that their victims have not been making any significant, regular, retail sales of products, and/or services, to the public for a profit.
This ongoing, global financial holocaust (with a small 'h') is what has been laughably referred to as the 'direct selling industry.' Thus, despite all its reality-inverting propaganda, 'MLM business opportunity' fraud is America's home-grown version of the 'Nigerian Bank' scam.
I challenge anyone, anywhere in the world, to prove me wrong - produce the audited accounts (particularly the income tax receipts) of an extensive group of non-salaried 'MLM' commission agents who have all been able to earn their livings lawfully by regularly retailing significant quantities of 'MLM' wampum to the public for a profit.
