In the latest twist to the unlawful activities of the infamous Amway India, the Andhra Pradesh State Government has issued a Government Order on 15-09-2008 bearing No. G.O.M.S. No. 178 published in the official Gazette restraining Amway India Enterprises from publishing any material/advertisement which are promoting and/or conducting the in contravention of the provisions of the Prize Chits & Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978. The G.O. also made it clear that every copy of the publication/website to be forfeited to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The G.O. could be viewed at http:/goir.ap.gov.in/Reports.aspx.

Andhra Pradesh has been always in the front in fighting Economic frauds. It was the first state to ban Money Circulation Scheme in 1965. It is the first state in the World to book a criminal case against Amway and also proved it is a Money Circulation Scheme in High Court and Supreme Court. Now with the G.O. 178 it is the first state to ban the activities and promotion of Amway Scheme. Kudos to YSR, Home Minister, DGP Yadav and AP Police.
Amway should pay back the illegal amount collected from Indians and it should “Quit India” before Pinckney’s and its distributors are chased away from India. Vikram

Andhra Pradesh shown the lead for others states and country in banning the illegal and fraudulent activities of Amway. Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy Government has taken a lead in many areas. Now again Andhra Pradesh Government has taken a lead in banning Amway. Let India Government and other states follow suit the steps of Andhra Pradesh and ban the activities of Amway. Vijay
Dear shyam sir, May i know why u r calling amway is a cheating company, amway is operating their business nearly 50 years in around 90 countries with wide range of pdts, if ur is right it is not possible to amway working in these countries since nearly 50 years and now amway is ruling by the second generation of the founders, may be i think ur age also nearly 50, how can u says it is cheating company, which one is having equal age of urs, there is now scope if a company cheated the
Amway is working in india since 1998 with the turn over of 2 crores n now reached 700 crores turn over n 4.50 lakhs distributors in india n it is moving towards touching 1000 crores turn over fr dis year... iam proud 2 be an indian as well as iam proud to be with amway...
