IBOs stoop to enroll more members

This is the typical example of Amway's Independent Business Owners stoop to any level to enroll new members.
A wife and husband were targeted by an IBO at Vijayawada, a coastal city in Andhra Pradesh. The IBO approached the couple who were running a provisional stores and asked them to become a member of Amway with his usual pep talk of early retirement, tours abroad, luxury life, etc. Howsoever the pressure, the couple refused to yield. Then with the help of a food inspector in the municipal corporation, a raid was conducted on the shop and samples were taken for lab test. The couple were really in dire strait.
Now this IBO approached them once again asking them to visit an astrologer known to him to come out of the troubles. The astrologer after carefully examining their horoscope came out with a wonderful idea. He advised the housewife to leave her husband and live with the IBO for a prosperous life. The couple were dumbfound.
Now IBO pulled another trick. He filed a divorce petition in the name of housewife with a forged signature. After a short trial, the court granted divorce to the housewife ex-parte. Then the IBO approached the housewife with the divorce order and asked her to live with him. The couple immediately rushed to the police and lodged a complaint. The criminal case is under investigation.
Our readers have already read about the plight of teacher from Hyderabad how her husband left her home after she refused to sell Amway products door-to-door.
These might be typical cases but there are so many victims around the world. I hope that more such stories would tumble out.
