Let's learn more about Amway scam

Let us move forward as our friend could not answer to the inducement point. Now let us see how Amway hoodwinked the Indian Government.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court has also pointed out that Mr A Rajasekhar Reddy, learned Assistant Solicitor General appearing for the Union of India submitted that the scheme approved by the Government of India is different from the scheme which the first petitioner, i.e. Amway, is executing and, therefore, the approval given by the Government of India cannot be used as a shield by the petitioners for carrying unlawful business. He referred to the letters dated 31.3.2003 and 23.9.2003 addressed by the Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Consumer Affairs and submitted that though in the first letter a reference was made to the judgment in Swapankumar Guha case, and the secretary opined that the companies dealing with direct/ network/ middlemen marketing do not fall within the provisions of the Prize Chits & Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978, later on, he clarified that the unlawful activities are prohibited in the Act.
The Assistant Solicitor General submitted that as per letter dated 29.3.2003, the pyramid structured marketing schemes fall within the provisions of the Act and the people running those schemes cannot claim the benefit of the approvals granted by the Government of India.
The learned counsel further argued that having regard to the serious allegations which prima facie show that the petitioners are involved in money circulation prohibited by the Act, they cannot seek, to interdict the investigation by the police and that the truth or otherwise of the allegations ;made in the criminal case should be allowed to be revealed and this court cannot issue writ to stultify the investigation.
Now, the Amway apologists understand the dubious claims of the Amway that its business is legal under Indian laws.

The "inducement" isn't Amway, it's the tool scam. How to make money via Amway is what is in the marketing plan, but the tool scam is what isn't shown.

I understand India has taken action against the tool scam, is this right?

...significantly enough, I agree with Tex on the point made that the tool scam ran by scoundrels is the number #1 reason not to involve oneself in Amway. We may disagree on other points, but the tool scam kingpins have been shown to be absolute scoundrels. It is they who have been described in terms such as 'mafia' by a highly respected legal authority.

Tex, aren't you an Amway apologist otherwise?

Surviving for 52 years won't make a business a legal one. It seems you are not aware of the Andhra Pradesh High Court judgement which held the business model of Amway India illegal. A number of criminal cases are filed against Amway India in Andhra Pradesh. Even the Supreme Court of India upheld the judgement of AP High Court. Because of people of like you, such type of fraudulent companies are surviving. Open your eyes and learn the facts. Amway is a fraudulent company bleeding the gullible all over world. Come out of it and file criminal cases against it.

Rohit, you would soon realise the vicious circle you have entered. You will find it just impossible to sell Amway products which are exorbitantly priced. And you are compelled to purchase products worth Rs. 2000 every month. In effect, you will be spending at least Rs. 25,000 every year without any earnings. You would be frustrated after a couple of years but your ego won't let you to give up. You keep on losing money every month.
And You find it extremely difficult also to recruit more members into the scheme.
Finally, you will quit blaming yourself for your poor performance. You will never realise the whole scheme is a scam.
Let us meet after a couple of months down the lane.

Mr Shyam Sundar first of all to make u understand about Amway products, these might look costly to u when u first purchase it, but as soon as u understand the proper way of using these products, then their cost per use value is more cheaper then the products available in the markets and they are very beneficial and not harmful.. and i agree with Mr.Rohit that downlines can earn more money than the uplines, so its is not a pyramid scheme or any other kind of scheme.. and Mr.Sundar if u really want to know that what Amway is actually all about, then u r free to email me at drshlpiarya@gmail.com
