As an Xmas present, we provided young Trivedi with an extensive piece of quantifiable evidence, in the form of a 25 minute (confidential) video recording of Mrs. 'Birdie' Yager (wife of the a former beer salesman from New Jersey portrayed as the most successful 'Amway' distributor in the world) steadfastly pretending to a group of unquestioning American 'Amway' initiates that she and her husband receive messages from (the Christian) 'God' and that 'Amway' has the full approval of (the Christian) 'God.'
I then provided your readers with an accurate, medically-qualified analysis of this, and other similar evidence, in which it was clearly explained that Mr. and Mrs. Yager appear to be classic megalomaniacal psychopaths - i.e. persons who suffer from a chronic mental disorder especially when resulting in paranoid delusions of grandeur and self-righteousness, and the compulsion to pursue grandiose objectives.
Trivedi's classic, conditioned, cultic response to this quantifiable evidence and to the accurate qualified analysis of it, was to exclude and invert external reality by telling himself that 'I am the person pretending superhuman powers.'
However, Shyam, based on the quantifiable evidence of what we have written on this Blog, it should be self-evident that neither you nor I pretend to be perfect. On the contrary, we fully-recognise that morality is only what is generally regarded as an acceptable standard of behaviour in our own cultures. We try to base our investigation of 'Amway' (and similar organizations) on quantifiable evidence, and our analysis on rules made by democratic institutions defining what is criminal, and/or unethical. We didn't invent this evidence or write these rules, but we can't escape the fact that 'Amway' (and similar organizations) involve the subversion of traditional codes of morality.
Shyam, in the typical comments posted by Trivedi on your Blog, you and your free-thinking readers have the dubious privilege of witnessing for yourselves how an unsuspecting, young Indian man can be tricked (by the fictitious 'exclusive offer' of a place in a future secure Utopian existence) into entering a counterfeit (totalitarian) culture in which his existing perceptions of right and wrong have been overturned and then made absolute.
Currently, Trivedi has abandoned all reason and is allowing himself to be systematically abused and exploited by a gang of US-based billionaire racketeers, whilst participating in the abuse and exploitation of his fellow Indian citizens.
In short, Trivedi has been enslaved, but without the use of chains.

Do you suppose young Trivedi clicked on to the link which we kindly provided for him to watch the deeply-disturbing Mrs. 'Birdie' Yager in full-flow? His only (predictable) response (so far) has been to regurgitate a stream of thought-stopping 'Amway' jargon. However, Trivedi's programmed reaction is no different to that of an unquestioning 'Scientologist' when confronted with the truth about their own leadership.
That said, your free-thinking readers must be wondering how is it possible, after watching material like this revealing video of Dexter Yager's wife, that any sane, Indian adult can continue not just to believe blindly that there is nothing wrong with 'Amway', but to want to even associate with this form of absurd, but nonetheless dangerous, American, right-wing 'Christian' lunacy?
My best qualified-advice is that, based on this video and on further extensive sound recordings and transcripts of their fictitious 'divine utterances', Mr. and Mrs. Yager appear to be classic megalomaniacal psychopaths (i.e. suffering from a chronic mental disorder, especially when resulting in paranoid delusions of grandeur and self-righteousness and the compulsion to pursue grandiose objectives).
'Joecool' is perfectly correct, there is plenty of quantifiable evidence proving that Dexter Yager really believes himself 'to be a superhuman.'
Furthermore, I've encountered former 'Amway' adherents who have had extensive contact with Yager and his wife. All of them tell the same frightening story. In private, and sometimes in public, Dexter Yager is an abusive and foul-mouthed bully who lives in a parallel, totalitarian world, where all persons challenging the authenticity of the 'Amway' myth are systematically categorized, condemned and excluded as 'f**king Commie bastards', 'queers', 'dykes' ,'losers' , 'Dream-Stealers' , 'devil worshippers', etc.
In Dexter Yager's twisted 'Amway' model of reality, the manipulation, and/or cheating, and/or dispossession, and/or destruction of 'inferior outsiders' is seen as being perfectly justifiable.

I observe that the intellectually-feeble comment that young Trivedi has squawked when faced with the quantifiable evidence that his multi-millionaire 'Amway Diamond' hero, Dexter Yager, is a psychotic criminal (who believes that he acts for 'God' ), is the implication that we can't be correct , because we don't know the exact 'Pin Level' (i.e. made-up title) of Yager's 'impressive'-sounding rank in the 'Amway' paramilitary structure.
The intellectually-rigorous point that I was making, but which failed to penetrate Trivedi's castrated 'Amway' mind, is that it doesn't matter in the slightest what fancy names Yager and his criminal associates decide to give themselves - 'Crown Ambassador', 'Grand Dragon', 'Gauleiter', 'Fuhrer', 'Grand Panjandrum': In the adult world of quantifiable reality, what's the difference?
In the puerile, parallel, totalitarian fantasy worlds of 'Amway', the 'Second KKK' and the 'Nazi party', mediocre little narcissists like the grinning members of the De Vos and Van Andel clans, Dexter Yager, Adolf Hitler, David Stephenson, etc., pretend(ed) absolute moral and intellectual authority whilst pursuing various hidden criminal objectives (fraudulent, sexual, violent, etc.). Perhaps Trivedi can then explain to your free-thinking Indian readers why this ill-educated American harpy believes that 'God speaks exclusively to her and to her husband' .

Amway pyramid is crumbling

Thirty years ago, Amway narrowly escaped an FTC prosecution to shut it down for pyramid fraud. Since then, it has been a rogue corporation on a global rampage, fleecing tens of millions with its hallmark "endless chain" income promise. The DSA has referred it to its "Code of Ethics Administrator" who in turn wrote that he has referred to it Amway's own "Code of Ethics Administrator." Referencing the material in Merchants of Deception, Pyramid Scheme Alert also asked the US Attorney General, Eric Holder, to open an investigation. Some highlights of Amway's long rap sheet are summarized:
· Amway received a huge fine for tax fraud in Canada, the largest ever levied at that time.
· CBS 60 Minutes and NBC Dateline have done devastating exposés of Amway-related deception in recruitment and income promises.
·One state in India has brought criminal fraud case against Amway.
· Prosecutors in England came within a hair of driving Amway out of the UK. A judge decided to allow it to continue to operate, but he imposed two fatal restrictions on it: lowered prices and no more "tools" business. Price gouging and foisting phony "motivation" CDs and seminars on new recruits to fund the "Top Guns" are pillars of Amway's model.
·In the USA, Amway was prosecuted by the State of Wisconsin that found that 99% of all distributors were losing money. This is exactly the same loss rate the UK officials calculated that English consumers suffered every year for 30 years!
·In North America today Amway is the target of large class action cases brought by distributors in the US, charging that Amway is a fraud. A second similar case has been brought in Canada.
·Despite threats and lawsuits, consumers have published multiple websites detailing deception, false income claims, bogus testimonials, and massive consumer losses.
·Amway's extensive political lobbying and influence-buying, especially its close ties to the Bush Administration, and the conflicts of interest with FTC officials have been exposed.
·Amway is in multiple litigations to stop its distributors from moving to other MLMs. The MLM scheme, Monavie, has pulled away thousands of former Amway distributors, including a number of top gun recruiters.
·Some of Amway's former "top gun" distributors have gone public and admitted in court cases that Amway is an illegal pyramid scheme, with a near 100% dropout rate, and that less than 5% of its products are ever retailed. This means that Amway's profits come directly and almost totally from the lost investments of the salespeople, not from sales to the public. They also admit that the high incomes and lavish lifestyles of the upline that are paraded in front of new recruits to demonstrate that Amway "works" are in fact a fraud. The money actually comes from selling the recruits "motivation and training" tools, not from earning commissions on Amway sales.
·Amway's multi-tiered business model has now been banned in China, closing off its last geographic market to continue the pyramid expansion.
Amway has taken extreme, evasive maneuvers, to cloud the truth and throw regulators, the media and consumer activists off its track.
·It has massively recruited outside the USA where regulations in some countries don't exist, are poorly enforced, or will not outlaw a US-based scheme for political reasons.
·It has also aggressively attacked whistle blowers with lawsuits. It has sued even small-time distributors who dared to leave and try to work for other MLMs.
·Amway changed its name to Quixtar, which it said was a a subsidiary of another new name, "Alticor." Many consumers unwittingly joined the "new" company not realizing it was still just Amway.
·Now, in yet another evasive maneuver, the company has yet another new name, Amway Global, and is running TV ads claiming to be "household name" and a "direct seller." In fact virtually no consumers buy Amway products other than the salespeople, and those purchases are not driven by demand or even brand awareness but rather are tied to Amway's misleading income promises.
Despite the diversions, escapes and disguises, the truth keeps doggedly following Amway. Now, the most famous Amway whistle blower - Eric Scheibeler - survived Amway's lawsuits and has told his inside story in a full length book, which is attracting media attention.
Based on the revelations in Scheibeler's book, Pyramid Scheme Alert has sent formal requests to the president of the Direct Selling and its Ethics Division asking for an investigation of Amway. The DSA has responded that it is taking the matter up with Amway.

I have been taking stock of the wide-range of opinions available on the Net regarding the pernicious cultic organization most-commonly referred to as 'Amway' ( or 'Quixtar' in the USA).
Apart from the organization's bleating little flock of intellectually-castrated apologists (led by the arrogant, 'Amway' Lord Haw Haw, Mr. 'IBOFB' Steadson), the people who are perhaps the most-obstructive are well-intentioned Americans who (usually from bitter personal experience) know full-well that 'Amway' is a fraud, but who are too nice, and/or naive, to accept that the 'Amway' fraud is neither original nor unique. Despite a mass of terrifying historical evidence, the self-evident comparison which this 'fair-minded' type of observer finds the most-hard to take, is with the 'Nazi party.' Sadly, this is due to the fact that even well-educated Americans seem to know very little about the 'biblical' origins of the 'Nazi' belief system, or how it was first used to generate piles of tax-free cash for an absurd, but nonetheless dangerous, little gang of sanctimonious 'political' , 'economic' and 'racial' pseudo-scientists - narcissistic racketeers who posed as 'ordinary men turned supermen.'
The majority of money that was already flowing into the bulging pockets of the few multi-millionaire 'Nazi' bosses (prior to them usurping power in Germany in 1933), came from peddling the closed-logic myth of a 'future, secure Utopia' available only to those who believed 100% in its existence. The over-priced materials which the wealthy 'Nazis' bosses produced and sold to their unquestioning flock of (largely poverty-stricken) adherents, were: publications, recordings, esoteric accessories, tickets to meetings, etc. The identical fraud was run in the USA by the leadership of the 'Second Ku Klux Klan' from 1915 until the 1930s. Apart from the usual over-priced publications, accessories, tickets to meetings, etc., one of the biggest money-spinners for the bosses of the 'Second KKK,' was the sale of insurance policies to adherents, who numbered around 6 millions in the mid-1920s. The 'Second KKK' collapsed when one of its sanctimonious 'Grand Dragons' , David C. Stephenson (a self-styled 'Christian politician' who previously campaigned on an 'Anti-Alcohol - White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Morality' ticket ) was convicted of raping and savagely mutilating a young white woman (who subsequetly bled to death) on a private train whilst he was blind drunk.
I observe that young Trivedi has been posting some ridiculous comments about his multi-millionaire 'Amway' idol, Dexter Yager, on your Blog. Without a shadow of a doubt, had the absurd, but nonetheless dangerous, Mr. Yager been around in the 1920s, he would have been one of the handful of multi-millionaire 'KKK' bosses in the USA or a 'Nazi' boss in Germany.
Back in the 1990s, the sanctimonious, self-styled 'pastor' Dexter Yager (who poses as an ordinary man turned 'Amway Diamond' superman) was first forced to declare in court that the overwhelming majority of his 'Amway'- related, multi-million dollar, annual income actually came from the sale of publications, recordings and tickets to meetings. A disturbing video of 'pastor' Yager's equally-sanctimonious wife, 'Birdie,' can still be found on Youtube in which she is reading out a letter which she steadfastly pretends to have been dictated to her by 'God.' According to various former high-level 'Amway' adherents (including Eric Scheibeler) who have had the misfortune to encounter Dexter Yager personally, behind his wooden smile, the 'pastor' is a foul-mouthed racist, sexist and homophobic bully who believes himself 'to be in direct contact with God' and who delights in boasting about how 'God has brought death upon his enemies.'
Like his 'Nazi' and 'KKK' predecessors, the 'Amway' Lord Haw Haw, Steadson, is there to maintain a puerile Utopian myth, peddled by wealthy criminals, and to hide the ugly truth lurking behind it.

Amway's business model is illegal

"I too was brainwashed and lied to for two years. I lost many friends, some that I had known my whole life. I accumulated a mass amount of debt that I would tell myself would be paid when I went Diamond. Needless to say, I filed bankruptcy and my credit was screwed for several years. Financially, my life has never been the same. Before AMWAY, I was a 25-year old single dad earning handsome salary. Today I make just enough to get by and live a very simple life. My sponsor was a childhood friend who I still keep in touch with. Other Friendships were not so fortunate.

I would estimate that the whole Amway experience cost me several thousands in two years. Not to mentiion, the money I blew to try to impress people that I was on my way to financial freedom. What a joke! I applaud you for what you are doing!"

Amway apologists might say that he was a loser. But they refuse to accept that they are also losers. Like Teacher Nirmala's husband they too strongly believe that they are going to become rich even though they did not make any money since the beginning and nothing in near future.

Amway's business model is a money circulation scheme disguised in the name of selling products. It's a pyramid structure sales model which had already left several millions all over India and other countries penniless. But many victims prefer to remain silent for obvious reasons. That is the forte of this monster.

My appeal to fellow humans all over world is not to fall prey to the scheming business model of Amway.
