No surprise Success India 2010 was cancelled

Shyam
I presume that this planned 'Amway' orgy of deluded self-gratification, organized under the reality-inverting banner of 'Success India 2010,' was a pay-to-enter event. Many thousands of similar, profitable 'Amway Functions' have taken place over the previous 50+ years around the world.
At one time, 'Amway UK Ltd.' boasted almost 100 000 'Successful Independent Business Owners' and the organization used Britain's National Exhibition Centre to host its 'Major Functions.' Paid speakers at these disturbing events included a former Conservative UK Finance Minister, Norman Lamont, and the former Middle East Emissary of the Arch-Bishop of Canterbury, Terry Waite. Sadly, ill-informed VIPs like this, were merely being used to give credibility to the 'Amway' swindle. They were deliberately not given the full picture.
Unfortunately, what the corporate officers of 'Amway UK Ltd.' failed to declare, was the fact that each year approximately 50% of all these so-called 'Successful British Entrepreneurs' were abandoning the organization, to be replaced by another intake of wide-eyed hopefuls. In this way, at least one million UK and Irish citizens were secretly churned through the camouflaged 'Amway' closed market-swindle and related advance fee frauds during a period of 35 years. Apart from the few grinning schills at the top of the 'Amway' pyramid, the overall failure/attrition rate for the so-called 'Amway Business Opportunity' in the UK was (effectively) 100%, because it had virtually no revenue other than that deriving illegally from its own participants. Today, after surviving a Public Interest Petition to have 'Amway UK Ltd.' closed down (on the grounds that the company's activities were in breach of UK trading schemes and lotteries legislation, and were 'inherently objectionable') the organization is obliged to declare the derisory gross-annual income levels of its remaining adherents. However, it has been estimated that around one billion dollars was generated by peddling publications, recordings, tickets to meetings, etc. to the one million+ transient, insolvent adherents of the 'Amway' myth in the UK, 1972- 2006. This criminal activity was not the subject of the recent UK civil investigation. This money was taken mostly in cash and shipped out of the UK to the USA without any payment of tax, but, to date, no criminal investigation has been pursued.
Smaller 'Amway Functions' have often been compared to Christian Revivalist, or Evangelical, meetings. Smiling and soberly-dressed 'Amway' core-adherents and their wives take to the pulpit and preach the scripted 'Amway' Gospel of how their involvement with the organization has brought them prosperity, freedom and happiness. The larger 'Amway Functions' have been described as a cross between a rock concert and a nazi rally, where flashy 'Amway Leaders' arrive in stretch-limousines and strut the stage to loud music, sporting diamond-studded rolex watches in front of vulgar images of wealth. These kitsch comic-book events have been designed to last over a period of several days and to create excitement and exhaustion. They can cost hundreds of dollars to attend.
One of the main features of all these pay to enter 'Amway Functions', is the complete absence of any dissenting voice. Consequently, it does not surprise me that 'Success India 2010' was cancelled when the police arrived.

Yes. It was a pay-to-enter meeting which cost Rs. 150 per person (approximately three US dollars). Actually the meet was not cancelled but disrupted by the police who chased the IBOs out of the venue.
