IBOFB simply says that whatever written in the blog was wrong. One look at the Amway India's wesite reveals that under 6-4-3 plan if a member completes one leg, i.e. enrolling 102 members by him or by his downline members, he would get a monthly income of Rs. 56,925.
Ms Nirmala told me personally how she worked hard to convince people to purchase Amway products. She said that she felt humiliated when their friends and relatives shut the doors on her face when she approached them with products in her hand. As an honourable government employee working as a school teacher, she genuinely felt that it is berating herself to sell products that way. She said that as both of them are government employees with secured jobs, their income exceeded Rs. 35,000 per month. Still, after six years into Amway business, their bank balance remained at Rs. five to six thousand only. She could not bring her husband to reality by telling him all these facts. He was under the illusion that they are going to become rich soon.
IBOFB accuses Nirmala that she tried to sabotage her husband's business. How cruel people could become blinded by their faith of total financial freedom. Her husband discarded the mother of two for not selling the products to their friends and relatives bearing humiliations. And this 'Masked Zero' supports her husband with no care for her personal feelings.

But let's look at the Amway India 6-4-3 plan. If you enrol 102 members - which in this model consists of SIX legs, not, one, you do not get Rs. 56,925. You get nothing.
But looking at the Amway website, they have as an example a 4-4-3 model, generating an income of Rs.56,500. Is this income from enrolling 68 other people? No, the income is because if each of those 68 people, and yourself, generates exactly 300 points of sales volume each month you will have generated 10,000pv of sales volume a month.
You're getting paid for generating around Rs.500,000 in product sales. Not for enrolling anyone. For selling stuff. You know - commerce.
If you enrol 500,000 people and nobody buys or sells anything, how much do you make, Shyam?

If you enrol nobody and generate Rs.500,000 in sales volume a month, how much do you make in bonuses Shyam?

Rs.105,000
Get that? You make almost twice as much if you DON'T enrol anybody!. In fact, given you'd do it with personal retailing yourself, it would be more like Rs.140,000.
So if you make LESS money by generating the volume through other people, why do we do it?
The same reason shops employ sale stuff (which cost money!) - it's easier for a lot of people to do a little than one person to do a lot.
So you share the work with others, and you share the profits with them. What can be fairer than that?
You get nothing. ---- You do get 21% off of your personal purchases.
