I see that our smug Mr. David Steadson, the masked-man of many kitsch identities, a.k.a. 'IBOFB' a.k.a. 'Insider' a.k.a. 'Icerat' etc., has put in another scripted- appearance on your Blog. His mission is to seek out, and attempt to round up, doubting 'Distributors' and drive them back into the unquestioning 'Amway' fold. He would have the world believe that he is an authentic humanist, scientist and economic, and legal, expert who, out of the kindness of his heart, is trying to defend an authentic company against an international conspiracy of ill-informed and obsessive liars and fools.
This typicaly totalitarian scenario might be plausible to casual observers, except for the simple fact that the American families who created the puerile 'Amway' myth, are billionaires. These well-heeled liars (who fear rigorous investigation and prosecution under federal anti-racketeering legislation) can't risk being seen to be directly involved in defending themselves on the Net, so they rely on a few (apparently independent) tame parrots to squawk their predictable lies for them. Even with all their money, the
'Amway' mob are unable to find agents of any higher calibre.
Your naive young friend, Trivedi, has already admitted that he's not thinking for himself. He's foolishly let it slip that he's actually repeating sophistic arguments fed to him by his 'Amway' handlers. We, on the other hand, are not trying to stop 'Amway' adherents from thinking. We are asking them to wake up from their (effectively) unattainable 'Amway Dreams' of 'Total Financial Freedom in 2-5 years,' and think again as rational individuals.
Cultic groups like 'Amway' stop their adherents from thinking by progressively taking control of their means of thought (i.e. words and images). This is what is technically described as Neuro-Linguistic Programming. In the end, the reality-inverting jargon of a cultic group can become second-nature for an adherent; short-circuiting his/her critical, and evaluative, faculties. The 'Amway' acronym 'IBO' ('Independent Business Owner') is a perfect example of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Tellingly, in order to avoid closure in the UK, 'Amway's' lawyers promised the UK High Court that the British company would, henceforth, stop using the misleading term 'IBO' .
Unfortunately, all the quantifiable evidence proves that far from being 'Independent,' core-'Amway' adherents are conditioned to behave like dependent children. Everything in their lives (the people with whom they associate, the clothes they wear, the food they eat, the amount of sleep they get, etc.) can become controlled by their leaders. De facto agents like Steadson can't deny these shocking facts. On the contrary, they steadfastly pretend that
whatever might have happened is now in the past, and was exceptional. They also claim that the 'Amway' organization cannot be held responsible for the activities of all its 'Distributors.'
These sophistic arguments are essentially the same as those used by the leadership of 'Scientology' when faced with the same irrefutable evidence that the organization's minority of core-adherents are de facto slaves.

I can't deny those "shocking facts"?? Of course I can. It's ridiculous. There is no "control" of the clothes people wear, food they eat, how much they sleep etc etc. And it's done through some kind of NLP mind control?
You do know that Derren Brown admits even his explanations are part of the show, don't you? Seems he's suckered you in ....
